Read more...In this Film Mark Cleghorn is in the studio and today shoot is all about glamor. This film is based on the trends in the UK which is storming the magazine market. This is not a boudoir shoot this is glamor, and often the two are confused, so marks shooting with harsh lighting and marks looking more for a rock chick feeling with the type of clothing and expressions.
Mark talks about the studio setup, the back grounds he will be using the positioning of the lights and what each lights job is doing during the shoot. When the shoot starts you will see the variety that mark shoots and the interaction that he has with the model, as the shoot progresses mark changed the lighting setup and exposures.

Paul has become an authority in the world of pet photography as well as an accomplished author and a world wide lecturer but more importantly he is an active photographer not just talking about it but still photographing the wonderful world of pets.
In this film Paul is shooting two Siamese cats at one of his clients homes. Todays shoot Paul's shooting these cats in their natural environment so he wants the cats to do what they usually do, to capture their own personality.
Paul allows works with a handler close by just so if can concentrate on being the photographer and not getting the cat to do something and missing the shot. The animal is always going to follow the owners lead as they have trust and a relationship together and this is key to remember.

Read more...In this film you see Mark Cleghorn out on location with engaged couple Anna and Jonathan for their pre-wedding shoot. The reason for a pre-wedding is so that the couple can feel comfortable with the photographer, but also so the photographer can get familiar with the couple ready for their wedding day.
This Pre-wedding shoot is shot in Spring, Marks taken the couple on location to a local park. Shooting in a park environment gives a variety of locations which also allows mark to work in a lot more locations and access to different pasts that are not available in summer months.
Mark talks through the shoot and the lighting in the different locations that he used during the shoot and how to use the light to your advantage no matter where the location is.

Each month on PhotoTraining4U members have a chance to have their images critiqued by Mark Cleghorn. The photo critique sessions run between 60 and 90 minutes, during which Mark comments on around 30-50 images.
This Photo Critique is in 5 parts, initially showing you the images that will be critiqued during the session followed by the image critiques them selves, so you can get the flavor.
The variety of images is a real mix from the beginner to the advanced, all the images follow a similar critique looking at how to improve lighting, composition, technique, pose, story telling to name but a few.
Critiques are designed to push members photography skills forward and are just one persons opinion as beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
Mark Cleghorn has been Judging and Critiquing images all over the world since 1990, trained by the old Masters to constructively look at and dissect images to allow photographers to understand their weaknesses and strengths to allow them to become even better at their craft.
