One of Mark's main commercial clients is Ladies First Magazine. In this film Mark was commissioned to shoot images for a double page spread for an article about The Park House in Cardiff. The brief was to shoot the dining room and bars at the venue and also an editorial portrait of the owners.

In this 1st of a 2 part series you will see Mark taking the main editorial portraits and how he lights them then follow him through the Park House taking all the images required for the article.

As part of the Fashion Apprentice experience it was important for us to get Tom and Deborah to experience real shoots with clients and the reality of all the factors involved. In these films Deborah and Tom got to see Mark shooting a new collection of wedding dresses for Blue. During the shoot they both got to see the whole process from creating the set and the lighting tests, working with hair and makeup stylist and the ultimately working with the client to achieve the look they want for their dresses.

Over the next 12 months you will be able to track the 2012 PT4U Fashion Apprentices Tom and Deborah on their journey through Fashion photography. The two apprentices will meet for two days every three months. They have their project for the year and with a mixture of intense training sessions with Mark Cleghorn, they will learn new techniques on how to become a better photographer pushing their skills to the limit.

Each day will bring something different to the table.  The first day is the project where Deborah and Tom have to use their creativity to get what they need. The second day, the two apprentices will get to be part of a commercial fashion shoot and get hands on experience in the world of fashion.

Commercial photography can be a daunting prospect for many photographers but in this film Mark Cleghorn goes back to his roots and shoots images for a Restaurant/hotel to use on line as well as in print.

In this second of three films Mark is at the crown at whitebrook shooting for their new wed site and brochure. Marks shooting eight bedroom today  with portable flash today using the quantum trios. Mark's using the 5D MarkII with a wide angle sigma lens, when shooting in a working hotels and restaurants you must be aware that they are in business and making sure that you are not in the way of their guest.

Tiara magazine ran a competition for one lucky woman to have a make over and model a designer wedding dress for a cover shoot for the magazine.

In this film you will see Mark live at work taking the shots from the direction of the magazines art director and the wedding dress designer.
