In this 2 part film Mark Cleghorn explains the key skills to shooting with dramatic off camera flash using speedlight lights in a bedroom environment, this style is his most popular for both female clients and models alike. In this film Mark shoots Becky a plus size model for a more realistic effect to demonstrate his boudoir style of photography.

Part 1 Contents include - Discussing the set-up, the location, the equipment and accessories. The shoot starts near a window and then develops on to the sofa for better posing.

Unlike other PT4U films this film includes the post processed images, so you can see what the client would proof. The post process used is a preset by onOne software a plugin called PhotoTools, the effect darkens edges, softens as well as applying a slight focus blur. In this film, the first part of Baby Evie's 1 year TTL, you get to see Mark Cleghorn shooting real and raw in the studio and in this session not only the baby by her self but also with her brother and sister. In this part Mark also discusses what he expected to get during the session, the basic studio setup, basic pricing and sales expectations as well as what the client brings to the session.

Shooting fashion is just a slow portrait shoot at heart, with more attention around the clothing, makeup and styling with the expression and pose coming in last. In this film you get to see Mark Cleghorn shooting on location for the second part of the days shoot.

In this real and raw film Mark is shooting the last 5 dresses at 2 different locations, you get to see how Mark instructs the model in pose and his assistant in lighting to capture the images in real time. The first location is a classic pillars style and the second location is using a fountain as both foreground and as a background. The images you see are straight out of the camera, so you get to see the exact image before any post process.

Shooting portraits of a pregnant mother can be a daunting prospect initially, then add the clients other children into the mix and the session can be a little unpredictable, that is unless you structure the shoot. but in this film you get to see Mark Cleghorn do exactly that.

In this film we see Mark shooting in his studio and you get to see a Real & Raw session and how he brings both energy to the session as well as a calm to the variety of portraits. The 2 young children are well up for the session however mum does not want her face to be filmed and further more she does not want her face in any of the photographs, so something else to consider when shooting.

The shoot moves through a Hi key series initially, then into a Mid key look for a little more impact and then lowering the key fully to create more drama through low key.

This Film is a portfolio shoot of a new model on location in Cardiff Bay.
