In this real and raw session Mark Cleghorn is shooting one of the biggest groups he shot in his small studio in a long time. The session is for a golden wedding anniversary.  Mark talks about the set up for the shoot and the variety of groups within the family that the client wanted shot as well as the full family

You get to see how Mark construct the initial family group and then develops into more variety for the client. The main shoot is about the mum and dad and then mark builds the group around them.

In this three part film Mark Cleghorn is on location with one of his mentors and a Fellow in Portrait Photography Peter Lowry. Peters work is very classical, everything from the use of light on location, technique, story telling and styling with the shot.

Peter Lowry, who established his studio in Frome in 1976, is qualified as a Fellow of The British Institute of Professional Photography, The Royal Photographic Society and The Royal Society of Arts.

Not only has he studied with some of the finest photographers in the world, but he has also lectured in various European countries and extensively throughout the British

Isles.

His wedding and portrait photographs have won many competitions, receiving The BIPP National Portrait Photographer of the Year Award on three occasions and no fewer than three coveted Kodak Gold Awards, thus becoming a member of the elite Kodak "Gold Circle"

In this film Mark talks about the importance of varity in a maternity shoot. This film is based on 20 shots for maternity, coming up with variety is sometimes a struggle but in this film Marks demonstrates and show how to construct 20 basic shots of different styles and how to tweak each shot to make it more dramatic andn different to the last.
