Lighting Studio Flash

In this film you see Mark Cleghorn in the studio with engaged couple Scott and David for their pre-wedding shoot. This is a same sex marriage, Scott and David have asked for the shoot to be in the studio which is fine, But mark usually like to get the couples out on location. The reason for a pre-wedding is so that the couple can feel comfortable with the photographer, but also so the photographer can get familiar with the couple ready for their wedding day as well as mark finding out what poses Scott and David like as well as the style whether its lovie dovie or not.

Mark shoots high key and mid key in this shoot with a three light set up during the whole session. The main light  for the majority of the shoot is a elinchrom Octa set f8, the background lights have large silver reflector dish's on and set to f16. Mark then changes the lights around and uses harsh lighting to finish the shoot using the both background light, one to light David and one to light Scott.
