Craig captures the beauty of the natural world with his creative and emotional attachment to nature at the very heart of each photo, creating a unique and artistic reflection of his time in the field.
Craig's lose yourself to nature approach enables him to get close enough to capture the animal's beauty and behaviour, which both feature strongly in Craig's style of photography, as showing a wild animal within their natural habitat is the foundation to his work. Craig's creative and emotional attachment to nature is at the very heart of each image, creating a unique and artistic reflection of his time in the field. It is his intention to use these reflections of the natural world to bring people's awareness of what beautiful wildlife we have on our doorsteps and all around us, with the importance of conservation and the need to preserve our national heritage.
In every image that Craig captures it is important that it every image represents an event that occurred in the wild, something that he witnessed and recorded with his camera. Craig's skill lies in interpreting and presenting this in a way that invokes the beauty, mood and emotion and the animals in their natural environment.
As an active contributor to Arkive, Craig hopes that his photos will help show the true beauty of the wildlife that we have around the world. Craig also raises money for the tiger, one of the most beautiful animals created by mother nature, which was the inspiration to his limited edition tiger prints.
