Decided to take the plunge and join at Focus yesterday, already I can see it was well worth the investment, in fact it was probably the best purchase at the show. Having spent the last 35 years retouching other photographers work, now I'm more interested in creating my own images and want to use PhotoTraining4U to help make sure they are not just run of the mill shots. Looking forward to viewing more of the videos, if the ones I've seen already are anything to go by I doubt I'll be watching much telly this year! PAul March 2010

Well.....the Freeview films were so terrific that I took the plunge and signed up. I think you are doing something right! Seeing the struggles, bumbling, and little victories of the apprentices feels right about where I am now. And seeing how they overcome obstacles and integrate Mark's comments helps me as I think out the puzzles he presents to them. If they can figure it out....maybe I can too. Dale February 2010

Just watched Lisa's 5th Critique Homework on the site and recognized one of her photos won a SWPP November gold award as published in the latest Edition of Professional image maker, just like to say that Phototraing4u has got 2 members in that mag as I won the Gold in the baby category for the same month, Credit to you Mark as you have given me the confidence to believe I can do it, sound corny but true. Found PhotoTraining4U yesterday and its been a 24 hour adventure! You have made sense of so much for me that 4 years at university never did. Photography falls under the Fine Art dept at all universities and for a budding commercial photogapher that was murder. My Husband and the kids have a complaint ! - there dinner was late because i just could not stop watching the videos. I think I have learnt more in one afternoon than 3 years in college. I joined up to Phototraining4U.com at the Focus official launch. I was set to shoot my first wedding a few days after the show - and I was quite nervous. When you are sitting in a hotel room at 11pm with a wedding to shoot the next day and you need some immediate help, you cant rush out and buy a DVD - but you can go on line. This is a great idea and a real value for money. I could wonder into a camera shop and spend a couple of hundred pounds in no time on bags and tripods - but the real thing you need access to is knowledge. This deal enables me to dip in and out of the site whenever I want to access a mother load of knowledge at the click of a mouse. Lee Crawley

Many thanks for your lastest tip, I will be going shopping for a touch in the next day or two, so simple yet so effective... have been photographing weddings for a few years, but i'm still learning, have found the videos a great source of imformation, being able to access them as/when I have time, is a great bonus. If you are thinking about whether or not Photo Training 4 You is worth it. Please do not hesitate. It is the best money I have spent in a long time. Being able to dip in and out of the lessons is fantastic. I can watch and re-watch as many times as I like. New videos every week with something new to learn or brush up on. Mark is the man!! But beware, this club is very addictive, I forget how long I have been watching sometimes!! My hubby used to say he was "a computer widow" - now he says he is "a Mark Cleghorn widow" Keep up the good work guys, you rock. Lynn F.

You have to hear this! I know you must get fed up this kinda stuff but i have to share this with you as one of your students so apologies in advanced but the excitement has the better of me!. I did my first wedding on Friday and absolutely nailed it......... (if i do say so myself and far better than i imagined) So much so that i have already secured two bookings for next year and have a further three inquires to follow up on from friends of the party - all in TWO days! - It's SUREAL and almost impossible to believe just 9 months in!! I really do feel this is the start of something and have to say couldn't of done it without you guys, PT4U gave me the knowledge to plan and prep professionally and get the shots needed to tell the story.
