Posing again is the hot topic, as the photgraphers job in Boudoir photography is to make sure the client looks thinner as well as an enhanced posture.

Lesson 5 Part 2 includes – Mark continues the basic start to the session with the body details using hard light and then uses a diffuser Trigrip reflector to soften the light as well as to cut down the working aperture. Direction of light is changed to give different moods by introducing and using shadow in the portrait. Lisa & Anna then take on the session usingthe first setup.

Mark then changes the lighting setup by introducing a second light fitted with a honeycomb.

Lesson 5 Part 1 includes – Lighting and Posing. First of all Mark builds a simple set in the studio, then discusses the different reflector dishes and the effect on the subject and the background, before bringing in the model to start the session in a partners favourite white shirt scenario. The session starts with just hard lighting with a one light setup, initially three quarter portraits,, then head and shoulders and finishing with body shapes and details.

This Film features a funky slide show of some of the images shot by Mark Cleghorn on one day of his Monkey Business 3 Fashion and Glamour Tour were he demonstrated 6 different lighting setups 3 for Boudoir and 3 for Fashion.

Boudoir Pocket Card Guides Workshops

Shooting Lingerie whether for fashion or for portraits relies on some key skills in basic lighting and posing the subject.

In part 2 of this film Mark Cleghorn concludes the shoot along with some great posing with his model Rachael, who had never posed for just a lingerie shoot before. The last part of the session produces some great images as he uses color gel to dominate the images.

Part 2 includes – the shoot continued, posing, lighting trough glass blocks, adding gel, using a honeycomb.
