One of the four parts of a Location Location session with one of Mark Cleghorn’s Real life Bride & Grooms, this quickie session takes part outside one of Cardiff icon buildings The National Museum of Wales. Bride & Groom in Modern Architecture
Classical but Modern is Mark Cleghorn’s use of a city building as he shoots one of his real life Bride and Grooms as part of a four part after the wedding Location Location session. This session takes part under a canopy of an office building, perfect for the on and off rain of the day, shooting in this location for the first time we see how Mark instantly picks his 3 main locations, the pillar, the glass and avenue, all perfect for modern yet classical wedding images. The big lens is out again for shallow focus, combined with reflections of tinted glass in the architecture make great images with only a reflector to boost light were he needs it. |

Confetti & Lace III – The Intro and Equipment
Real and RAW is the only way to explain this type of training as you get to see how a working photographer copes under the pressures of a real wedding day, nothing fake here, as even the images have only been touched by camera RAW in conversion, so no fancy Photoshop work in this film. In this the first of a 5 part film shot live at a wedding, Mark Cleghorn talks about the wedding which he is about to shoot. In this section he also talks about the equipment he will be using on the day. |
