The film gives you an insight in to using and getting the best out of a Lastolite Ezybox Hotshoe when shooting on locations.

Mark Cleghorn demonstrates the portable softbox and how to use it to control contrast, fully illuminate the subject as well as to balance the flash with the ambient or to dominate. Shot in New York you get to see how Mark manipulate the flash on location to create a variety of striking portraits.

In this 4 part film Mark goes back to basics on location with the apprentices by allowing them only 1 Shot per setup, this is to make them think before they shoot. This technique will make them look at the lighting, pose and location more in depth as all Mark allows them is one practice shot before the image has to be captured.

Lesson 5 Part 4 includes – Composition, Male posing, using the location, off camera flash with pocket wizard shooting at 1/3200 th, plus setting up the camera and using the Elinchrom Ranger flash.
