The film gives you an insight in to and how to uses the Skylite system in strong sunlight, and how Mark Cleghorn uses it to diffuse and reflect the strong sunlight on location to get some great commercial fashion portraits.

This Film is a portfolio shoot of a new model on location in Cardiff Bay.

In the film you will see Mark Cleghorn using all his skills to manipulate light to enhance the session as well as instruct the model in pose.

At the end of the day when the light is falling rapidly making use of natural window light must be done swiftly to avoid very high ISO settings and slow shutter speeds.

In this 2 part film Mark Cleghorn shows you how he uses simple soft window light to great effect in portraiture, positioning and posing the model to make best use of the available light and location. When Mastered these lighting techniques can form the basics of almost all portraits in direction and quality.
