These images are shot on the hotel balcony inside and outside using natural light as well as and in the hotel bedroom suite with speed-lite off camera flash for a more holly wood style of lighting and then finally in a glass corridor. |

Flash Boudoir Part 1

A lady’s Boudoir used to be out of bounds for gentleman however since the early 1990’s it has been a lucrative income for many photographers. In this 2 part film Mark Cleghorn explains the key skills to shooting with dramatic off camera flash using speedlight lights in a bedroom environment, this style is his most popular for both female clients and models alike. In this film Mark shoots Becky a plus size model for a morerealistic effect to demonstrate his boudoir style of photography. Part 1 Contents include – Discussing the set-up, the location, the equipment and accessories. The shoot starts near a window and then develops on to the sofa for better posing. Unlike other PT4U films this film includes the post processed images, so you can see what the client would proof. The post process used is a preset byonOne software a plugin called PhotoTools, the effect darkens edges, softens as well as applying a slight focus blur. Using the TriFlash Bracket – Lastolite School Of Photography
This film made in conjunctoin with The Lastolite School Of Photography and concentrates on the off camera flash accessories the Lastolite TriFlash Bracket. The film gives you an insight in to how this specific piece of kit allows Mark Cleghorn to use Multiple Flash Speedlites on one stand, to assist in reducing the re-charge time between flashes as well as the increased power output when needed. In this film you see how Mark uses both the cameras own flash triggering system as well as a 3rd party radio trigger to fire the speedlites to take some great portraits in 2 very different styles. |
