Lesson 6 Part 1 includes - Using a male and female model Mark starts at the beginning with the couple standing. He illustrates how pose starts with the feet and from that starting point a variety of images can be obtained. He continues to demonstrate that by developing the pose a story can be told. Are the couple boyfriend and girlfriend or brother or sisterthat is the secret of the pose.

In this film you get to see a young boy being photographed in the studio by Mark Cleghorn, during the session you see how mark interacts with Joe, his subject and how he animates the session and pose from a distance.

From a white wall to a curtain background and a simple lighting setup, this session could have been shot in a clients home or a temporary studio setup. The main light is a large softbox to simulate the sunlight direction coming through a window. Its quite a difficult session in some ways as their is little interaction between the subject and Mark, quite typical of this age, even though the variety is quite amazing in such a short session.
